About Treasure House
|
Treasure House is a Children's Library and Experience center for children. We want to inspire children to read. "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places you'll go." -Dr Seuss We have a spacious, sunny, and ever-growing library of over 7000+ books, magazines, and DVDs with separate reading areas for the different age groups. Children spend time reading indoors or outdoors on the lawn, in the courtyard, or nestled in a hammock. Over the weekend we have Story-times, where we read to children, inspiring them to use their imaginations to create and share stories Another quote by Dr. Suess best describes the atmosphere we try to provide for our children. "If you never did, you should. These things are fun, and fun is good." At Treasure House we try to provide a gentle stream of new experiences and opportunities for exploration. Something is always happening at Treasure House; especially on the weekends and holidays. We have events like "Little Chefs" - Cooking with kids, "Music Appreciation", "Garden in a bottle", Field trips and so on. We want to keep Treasure House fresh and exciting. We bring in a variety of mentors and club facilitators who share our enthusiasm and passion. We have a bunch of fun reading programs, theme book clubs, and a variety of Workshops like - Making Art, Story time yoga, photography, Little Designer e.t.c We want children and parents to create warm memories together. We give families the space to read together, do a puzzle, play a board game, or participate in a club. We want our community of children and parents to own Treasure House. We support parents who have new ideas for activities, and encourage children to express themselves by starting clubs of their interest. |
